Instructions
Gather your tools: knife, cutting board, bowl, and spoon.
Wash and drain strawberries.
Cut strawberries and add to bowl.
Pour sugar over strawberries and stir.
Refrigerate, stirring every 30 minutes.
Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Spoon strawberries and syrup over shortcake.
