Ingredients

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix dry ingredients; set aside.
Cream butter and sugars; add eggs and vanilla. Combine with dry ingredients.
Fold in chocolate chips and nuts if using. Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheets.
Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on racks.
Notes
For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let cool on the baking sheet.
