Ingredients

Dough and Filling

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups pecans, chopped
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Cream softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Add corn syrup, eggs, vanilla, and salt; mix well.
  • Whisk flour and baking powder; gradually add to wet mixture. Fold in pecans.
  • Spread batter in dish and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool before cutting.
