This Chicken Parmesan Casserole is a quick, easy, and delicious dinner that can be ready in under 30 minutes! It's a comforting and satisfying meal the whole family will love.

  • 1.5 lbs cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (15 ounce) container ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • optional: fresh basil, chopped, for garnish

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Combine chicken, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper in a bowl.
  • Spread half of the chicken mixture in a 9x13 inch baking dish, then sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  • Spread the remaining chicken mixture over the mozzarella cheese, and top with the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Let stand before serving. Garnish with fresh basil, if desired.

Notes

For a spicier casserole, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the chicken mixture.
