Delight in these soft, chewy cookies infused with rich chocolate flavor and pudding mix for extra moistness.

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 2⅓ cups all purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened dutch cocoa powder
  • teaspoon baking soda

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup salted sweet cream butter (softened at room temperature)
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar (tightly packed)
  • cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (at room temperature)
  • teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 3.9 ounce instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, then pudding mix. Gradually add dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Use a cookie scoop to place dough onto sheets, 2 inches apart. Slightly press each cookie.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are set. Rest on sheet for 2-3 minutes, then transfer to cooling rack.

Notes

For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let rest on the baking sheet.
