  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 pound pasta (penne, rotini, or fettuccine)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a pot over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package directions, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked through (about 10-12 minutes).
  • Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
