Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cream butter and powdered sugar until fluffy. Mix in vanilla.
Whisk together flour, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture.
Fold in nuts if using. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.
Bake 12-15 minutes. Cool slightly, then roll in powdered sugar.
