A quick and flavorful dish combining tender chicken with a sweet and savory honey sesame sauce.

Ingredients

Protein

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cubed

Sauces & Condiments

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Garnishes

  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions chopped green onions
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for frying cooking oil

Instructions 

  • Mix honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  • Add chicken to marinade and sit for 30 minutes.
  • Fry chicken in oil until browned, 5-7 minutes.
  • Mix cornstarch and water to make slurry.
  • Pour honey mixture into pan, add slurry, and cook until thickened, 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve with steamed rice for a complete meal.
