  • 1 (15-ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • cooked rice or quinoa, for serving (optional)

Instructions 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add garlic and red pepper flakes (if using), cook until fragrant.
  • Add broccoli, stir-fry until tender-crisp.
  • Add chickpeas, soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
  • Stir-fry until heated through and combined.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve over rice or quinoa, if desired.

Notes

Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your spice preference.
