225g pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or penne)
450g boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
4 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
salt and pepper to taste
optional: red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
Cook pasta, reserving pasta water. Season chicken.
Melt butter, cook chicken until browned (5-7 minutes).
Add garlic, cook 1 minute. Pour in broth and cream, simmer 2-3 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan, parsley, and red pepper flakes (optional).
Add pasta to skillet, toss. Add pasta water if needed.
Serve immediately.
