Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Cheesecake filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Cream butter, sugars until fluffy; beat in egg, molasses, vanilla.
  • Mix dry ingredients; combine with wet mixture.
  • Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla until smooth.
  • Form dough balls, add cheesecake center, and bake 10-12 mins.
