Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brown chicken in olive oil, then set aside.
Sauté onion and garlic. Stir in rice, broth, BBQ sauce, honey, soy sauce, and paprika. Season with salt and pepper.
Return chicken to skillet. Bring to a simmer.
Cover and bake for 25-30 minutes, until rice is cooked.
Let stand for 5 minutes, fluff rice, and garnish with green onions.
Notes
For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the rice mixture.
