Ingredients

Ice Cream Base

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Peach Mixture

  • 2 cups peeled and diced fresh peaches
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Cobbler Crumble

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 Pinch salt

Instructions 

  • Prepare the peaches: Cook peaches, brown sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon until softened. Let cool.
  • Make the cobbler crumble: Combine flour, butter, and salt until coarse crumbs form. Refrigerate.
  • Make the ice cream base: Heat cream, milk, sugar, and salt until sugar dissolves. Do not boil.
  • Chill the base: Stir in vanilla. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight.
  • Churn the ice cream: Churn the chilled base according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Add peaches and crumble: Fold in the cooled peach mixture and cobbler crumble during the last few minutes of churning.
  • Freeze and harden: Transfer to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2-3 hours.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use high-quality vanilla extract and fresh, ripe peaches.
