1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 cup frozen peas
2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
salt and pepper to taste
fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
cooked rice or naan bread (for serving)
Instructions
Heat oil in a pot, brown meat, then add onion, garlic, and ginger. Cook until fragrant.
Stir in spices and cook for 1 minute.
Add tomatoes, potatoes, and broth. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20-25 minutes.
Stir in peas and cook for 5 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Garnish with cilantro and serve over rice or with naan.
