  • Cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 2-3 minutes, until the onion is translucent.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and Italian seasoning, then reduce the heat to low.
  • Add the cooked bowtie pasta and grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir until well combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, you can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
