Meat

  • 2 lbs pigs feet, cleaned and split

Vegetables

  • 1 piece onion, chopped

Spices & Condiments

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 bay leaves bay leaves
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Liquids

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (optional)

Garnish

  • fresh for garnish fresh parsley

Instructions 

  • Combine pigs feet, onion, garlic, bay leaves, salt, black pepper, cayenne, and paprika in a large pot.
  • Add broth, vinegar, Worcestershire, and hot sauce; bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 2-3 hours until tender.
  • Remove pigs feet, discard bay leaves, and optionally broil to crisp skin.
  • Serve hot, garnished with parsley.
