A quick and delicious one-pot meal combining pasta and broccoli for a wholesome, easy dinner.
Ingredients
Pasta and Broccoli

pasta (penne or fusilli)

cups
broccoli florets
3
cups
vegetable broth
2
cloves
garlic, minced

tablespoon
olive oil
1/2
teaspoon
red pepper flakes (optional)
to taste
salt and pepper
1/4
cup
grated parmesan cheese (optional)
for garnish
fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat and sauté garlic and red pepper flakes for 1 minute.
Add pasta, broccoli, and vegetable broth; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes until pasta is al dente and broccoli is tender.
Season with salt and pepper, stir in Parmesan if using, and serve garnished with parsley.
Notes
You can add red pepper flakes for extra spice or skip Parmesan for a vegan version.
