This one-skillet pasta dish combines smoked sausage, chicken, and a creamy BBQ sauce for a quick and flavorful meal. Perfect for a weeknight dinner!

BBQ sauce

grated cheddar cheese

diced onion

olive oil

garlic powder
Salt & pepper
(to taste)
Chopped cilantro or green onions
(for garnish)
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add sliced sausage and diced onions to the pan.
Sauté for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sausage is browned and onions are softened.
Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, BBQ sauce, and uncooked pasta.
Stir well and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Once boiling, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 12-15 minutes until pasta is tender.
Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
Once pasta is tender, remove lid and stir in cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
Mix well until the sauce thickens.
Taste and adjust salt and pepper if needed.
Remove from heat and let rest for a minute to thicken slightly.
Garnish with cilantro or green onions.
Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
