Instructions
Drain peaches for 10 minutes.
Toss peaches with brown sugar, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, cornstarch, and salt.
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
Mix in cold milk until dough forms.
Place flattened dough over peaches.
Brush with milk, sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
Bake for 45 minutes until golden.
Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat!
