Delight in these festive cookies combining creamy white chocolate and crunchy candy canes for a perfect holiday treat.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Add-ins

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Cream butter and sugars, then add eggs and vanilla.
  • Mix in dry ingredients, then fold in white chocolate chips and crushed candy canes.
  • Drop dough onto baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
  • Cool cookies on sheets briefly, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

For softer cookies, slightly underbake and let sit on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring.
